Mechanical Project Manager – Central London

My client has been a leader in the industry for over 50 years, based in the heart of Central London. With a turnover exceeding £40,000,000, they specialize in Design & Build Small Fitouts & Retro Fits, as well as plant replacements within the Commercial Sector, handling projects valued up to £2,000,000.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to expand their team and are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to join their special works division.

THE ROLE – Mechanical Project Manager

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will split your time between the sites and their Central London office, managing a variety of projects. 

Your key responsibilities will include overseeing multiple projects from inception through to completion, liaising with consultancies and end clients, and ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of mechanical projects, from initial design through to final handover, ensuring high standards of delivery.
  • Client Liaison: Maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring all expectations are managed and met, and acting as the main point of contact throughout the project.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and support a team of engineers and subcontractors, ensuring effective coordination and collaboration.
  • Cost Management: Manage project budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure all costs are tracked and controlled.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the mechanical systems and installations meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Health & Safety: Oversee site safety, ensuring that all work complies with the latest regulations and best practices.
  • Reporting: Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency throughout the proces

SALARY & BENEFITS


  • Salary: £70,000 (negotiable for the right candidate)
  • Paid Travel
  • Holiday: 20 days annual leave + 8 public holidays (increases by 1 day per year of service)
