We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming SEN school in West London. Our school provides specialist education for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and we are looking for a committed individual to support our students’ learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children with ASD in their daily activities, both academic and social
  • Assist teachers in implementing tailored learning plans and strategies
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all students
  • Support students’ communication, social skills, and behavioral needs
  • Encourage independence and positive engagement in classroom activities
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven experience working with children with ASD
  • Knowledge of ASD and effective strategies to support their learning and wellbeing
  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Enthusiastic about supporting children’s individual needs and fostering their development
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
