Lead Maintenance Engineer

Are you an Experienced Maintenance Engineer looking to enhance and progress their career in the New Year as a Senior Engineer based in Wednesbury, West Midlands? If yes, we want to hear from you!

They are a major cleaning service for the Healthcare and Hospitality sectors that cover the UK nationwide. The factory consists of large industrial dryers and washers that need proactive and reactive maintenance.

Annual Salary: £50,000 to £52,000 (DOE).

Weekly Hours:

• 5am-1pm M-F / 11am-7pm M-F and 7am to 3pm when covering for absence.
• On call when working 11am-7pm shift for advice and if necessary, to attend site for business-critical breakdowns.

Job Role Responsibilities:

• Leading 3 x Engineers of varying experience on your weekly shift
• Setting the targets for each Engineer
• Ensuring work is carried out efficiently and to given timescale
• Carries out return to work.
• Low level discipline activities.
• PPM Planning / Small Project Planning,
• Worked with CMMS. (Computerised Maintenance Management System).
• Parts sourcing, ordering, controlling.
• Carried our root cause analysis
• Checks standard or corrective & PPM work carried out.
• Working to budgets set by others.
• Working to department targets. - Setting target for Engineer to achieve.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Ideally have 2yrs leading a team of engineers (Not necessarily as large as above).
• Typical day to day management
• Experience of compliance control (LOLER, PUWER, PAT, Fixed Wiring etc…)
• Level 3 Engineering Qualified - A Management qualification would be desirable.
• Computer literate - Excel, Word Power point.
