Would you like to work for one of the top multi-disciplined design consultancies, who have offices in London. Would you like to work on an ever changing projects list that in the last couple of years have included: Large residential housing schemes, stadiums, Universities, student accommodation, hospitals, GP surgery’s, supermarkets etc?
Our client are a 500 strong multidiscipline consultancy that work out of their network of nearly 20 offices through the UK.
They are currently looking to appoint a Civil Drainage Engineer to join their London office. The civils team is 12 strong.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Leading projects in the office from small to large.
- Design of infrastructure predominantly for residential but also for commercial, education, and industrial sectors including Underground drainage systems and roads to adoptable standards.
- Liaison with statutory bodies such as Southern Water, Environmental Agency and County Roads Departments.
- Attend design meetings, site meetings and carryout site inspections.
Qualifications & Experience required:
- Varied experience in the use of: ; SUDS; Micro Drainage; Highways; and Civils 3D design or equivalent software design.
- 3 years of experience in drainage and highways design in the UK for an engineering consultancy.
