Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cost control for housing repairs and investment.
- Produce and maintain accurate financial information per Council standards.
- Build relationships with contractors and stakeholders.
- Support the Housing Procurement Officer with contract procurement.
- Manage cash flow forecasts and accruals.
- Review contractor valuations and ensure timely payments.
- Advise on contract documentation and dispute resolution.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Quantity Surveying qualification at HNC level or above.
- Experience in housing refurbishment, maintenance, or construction.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
- Proven track record in staff management and development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of procurement routes for asset management and experience with OJEU procurement.
