A successful Senior Development Manager will lead complex development and regeneration projects. Reporting to the Strategic Head of Regeneration & Development, this role involves overseeing a team, ensuring quality, innovation, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead council site developments, including housing and mixed-use projects.
• Collaborate with external partners to leverage council assets.
• Manage projects through planning, including Section 106 agreements.
• Oversee financial modelling and project progress.
• Supervise engagement and consultation with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Relevant degree or significant experience in construction, development, real estate, or regeneration.
• Professional body membership (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is desirable.
• Knowledge of town planning, development, and land acquisition.
• Experience in managing complex mixed-use projects.
• Strong negotiation and procurement skills.
• Ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
• Highly organised with capacity to manage a dynamic environment.
