My client, a leading design and build business, is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team and work on impactful projects, from flood defence improvements to water treatment upgrades and biodiversity initiatives.

The role covers the full project lifecycle—from early contractor involvement and tender negotiation to design, procurement, construction, and handover—ensuring financial viability, legal compliance, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementing robust cost management processes and providing accurate commercial reports.
• Collaborating with the delivery team to drive efficiency and best value.
• Ensuring all project members understand contractual obligations.
• Supporting clients in risk mitigation and maximising opportunities.
• Advising on contractual and commercial aspects for effective project control.
• Building strong client relationships through clear communication.
• Mentoring junior commercial staff.

What You’ll Need:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience on Infrastructure related projects (Water sector preferably, but open to people with Highways, Rail, etc experience)
• Experience with NEC Contracts.
• Strong problem-solving, math, and financial management skills.
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel.
