About the Role
My client is looking for an experienced Damp Surveyor to carry out comprehensive property surveys, diagnosing condensation, damp, and mould-related issues. You’ll play a key role in specifying and overseeing remedial works while ensuring tenant well-being.

What You’ll Need:
✅ Strong scientific knowledge of mould types, their causes, and potential impacts on residents (ongoing training provided)
✅ Ability to work in a high-demand environment, prioritizing tasks effectively
✅ Expertise in building structures, identifying faults, and recommending remedial actions
✅ Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and conducting seasonal monitoring
✅ Empathetic approach to tenants and property conditions
✅ Skills in producing drawings & floor plans and preparing specifications for improvement works
✅ Understanding of how property upgrades affect the overall building structure
✅ Experience obtaining competitive pricing and managing contracts

Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Order and oversee works using appropriate systems and tender procedures
🔹 Supervise projects to completion, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety Standards
🔹 Conduct post-inspections, confirm completion, and authorize payments
🔹 Work collaboratively with partners and external contractors to ensure best value
🔹 Handle complaints, compliments, and service reviews to drive continuous improvement
