Job Description

Vox Consultants are hiring for a Children Social Worker to join a Local Authority in the Northeast Somerset area on a Locum basis.
Please do not apply for this role if you do not have a valid Right to Work in the UK, are not a Qualified Social Worker and not registered to Social Work England.

You will be:
Joining the Family Support Team; your role will be to:

Manage a caseload of complex work, including court work and child protection.
Ensuring children are safeguarded and any risks are escalated.
Evaluate care plans and adjust where necessary.
Ensure the council’s procedures are followed through and the highest level of service given to children and families.
Collaborate with other professionals in the Service.

Essentials:

Registered to Social Work England, with an ASYE completed and 3 years of Post Qualifying Experience.
The ideal Candidate will have direct experience of working within a Children’s Social Services Team.
Right to work in the UK.
