🔎 Qualified Social Worker – Adult Safeguarding
📍 Location: Cheshire
💷 Pay Rate: £30 per hour
📅 Contract Type: Agency (via Pertemps Social Care)

Are you a compassionate and experienced Adult Social Worker with a commitment to protecting vulnerable adults? We’re looking for a dedicated professional to join a high-performing Adult Safeguarding Team in Cheshire — where your expertise, empathy, and leadership will truly make an impact.

🌟 About the Role
As a key member of the Adult Safeguarding team, you will:

Assess risk and coordinate safeguarding plans for vulnerable adults
Screen referrals and lead on complex safeguarding investigations
Carry out Care Act Assessments and provide targeted interventions
Promote independence and dignity through person-centred care plans
Work collaboratively with partners across health, housing, mental health, and community services
Take on a mentoring role for unqualified staff and students
Provide evidence and expert input in court where required

This is a hybrid role involving both safeguarding hub and community work. Your responsibilities will include multi-agency working, attending strategy meetings, and leading best practice in your area.

✅ What We’re Looking For
We want to hear from Social Workers who are:

Registered with Social Work England
Qualified with SW, DipSW, CSS or equivalent social work qualification
4+ years post-qualified experience in adult safeguarding or complex adult social care
Confident in applying the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, Human Rights Act, and Mental Health Act
Strong communicators with excellent mediation, assessment, and advocacy skills
Committed to partnership working in multidisciplinary settings
Passionate about achieving positive outcomes for adults with care and support needs
