Are you a passionate and experienced Qualified Social Worker looking to make a real impact on the lives of vulnerable children and young people? This is an exciting opportunity to join the Child Exploitation and Missing Hub within Bradford Children and Families Trust. In this specialist team, you'll work directly with children and young people who are at risk of or experiencing exploitation, as well as those who go missing from home or care. You'll play a crucial role in safeguarding, recovery, and prevention work—making a lasting difference in the lives of those who need it most.

🔍
About the Role:
As part of the Child Exploitation and Missing Hub, you will:
  • Deliver direct work to children and young people at risk of exploitation or missing episodes.
  • Undertake complex assessments, build safety plans, and support multi-agency responses to reduce risk.
  • Work collaboratively with police, health, education, and community partners to share intelligence and inform safeguarding decisions.
  • Be a strong advocate for the voice and lived experience of the child in all planning and interventions.
  • Support young people through trauma-informed approaches, building trusting and meaningful relationships.
  • Contribute to the wider exploitation strategy across the Trust, including prevention and awareness initiatives.
👤 Who We’re Looking For:
  • Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work (or equivalent)
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Minimum 2 years’ post-qualified experience
  • Proven experience working with vulnerable adolescents, including those at risk of CSE/CCE (Child Sexual/Criminal Exploitation) or missing episodes
  • Strong risk assessment, safety planning, and multi-agency working skills
  • Confident in working in fast-paced, emotionally demanding environments
  • Trauma-informed and resilience-focused practitioner
🌐 Working Model:
Bradford Children and Families Trust operates a hybrid working model, offering flexibility alongside team collaboration. While much of your work can be completed remotely, you’ll attend the office for direct work, team days, and key meetings—based on the needs of the service.
