Pertemps Stoke are recruiting for an FLT Driver to join our client’s busy site in Cheadle, Staffordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hard-working individual looking for ongoing work.
Main Duties of this FLT Driver role:

• Safely operate an TLT to carry out unloading, loading, and putaway of goods
• Perform 100% checking of all parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards
• Work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required to support the team
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment
• Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Skills and Experience Required for this FLT Driver role:

• Valid FLT Licence (essential)
• Conversion to TLT is available
• Previous experience operating FLTs in a warehouse or industrial environment
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy when checking parts
• Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and overtime
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in an outdoor environment, regardless of weather conditions
• A proactive and reliable attitude with a focus on meeting deadlines

Details of this FLT Driver role:

• Hourly rate: £12.93 per hour
• Ongoing work with potential for long-term opportunities
• Support for career development with TLT conversion available if needed
• Hours of work: 07:30 – 16:30, with weekend working and overtime required
• Location: Cheadle, Staffordshire Moorlands
