Job Description

A well-established children's service provider is seeking a Children's Residential Home Manager for a newly refurbished children's residential home specializing in emotional or behavioural difficulties (EBD) located in Leicestershire.

This position requires candidates to meet specific professional criteria; only those who meet these qualifications will be considered. We are seeking an experienced childcare professional with a minimum of five years' experience in a childcare setting, including at least two years in a management capacity. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. Experience in establishing new children's residential homes or launching new services is highly desirable. The candidate should be outcome-focused and possess extensive knowledge of the children's residential care sector, supported by a portfolio of relevant evidence and a thorough understanding of Ofsted standards. To support your preparation for Ofsted registration, we will provide comprehensive coaching sessions aimed at enhancing your skills and knowledge.

This presents a valuable opportunity for qualified and experienced registered managers, as well as individuals seeking to advance into a managerial role for the first time, to contribute to the development and success of a new service.

Selected candidates will benefit from comprehensive support and collaboration with a team of highly skilled professionals, including medical doctors, autism specialists, therapists, psychologists, and forensic mental health practitioners among others.

With multiple provisions already scheduled for registration, this role offers significant opportunities for professional growth, including the potential to oversee multiple sites or regional areas once the initial flagship provision has been successfully established.

Currently, the  available opportunity is in Leicestershire.

Please note that we are currently unable to offer Certificates of Sponsorship (COS) visa schemes or make visa switch arrangements.

  • Ensure that any recommendations or requirements arising from inspection reports and Regulation 44 visits are addressed and resolved within specified timeframes.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive written reports for reviews, case conferences, and other meetings as requested by Senior Management, and ensure that all action points are implemented promptly and effectively.
