HGV 2 Driver

Pertemps West Midlands and Shropshire driving division are looking for HGV 2 drivers to join our busy team within the West Midlands region to cover our growing client base needs.

Whether you’re looking for ongoing HGV 2 work, or just AD-HOC work to fill up the gaps in your week please get in touch!
 
The roles will entail and not limited to:

• Driving Category C1 or C vehicles
• Conducting daily/weekly pre-journey safety checks, ensuring the truck remains in a safe, roadworthy condition.
• General haulage work
• Internal and external deliveries, Depot to depot deliveries/collections.
• Handball can be involved.
• strapping loads
• Yard shunting/movements

To be considered for this HGV 2 driver role you will need:

• Category C entitlement (MUST OF HELD FOR A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS)
• 6 Months experience driving C Class vehicles
• Valid Tacho and DQC cards
• Friendly, professional, and dedicated to great customer service
• An outstanding work ethic and the ability to work at a fast pace
• Flexible approach to work and willingness to support when needed
• PAYE Only

PAYE PAY:
£14.00 - £16.50 – dependant on client and shift times.
