Location: Leeds Office – 1 Canal Place, 2nd floor, LS12 2DU
Salary: £26,500 - £29,500 (Based off previous experience) + Commission (Available after Probationary period)
Working Week & Hours: Monday – Friday / 08:00am - 17:00pm
Probation: 6 months (Revisited at 3 months)
Driving Licence: Preffered for the position

Our Pertemps Leeds Branch are looking for an experienced Business Support Consultant to join our growing team. This is your chance to step into a dynamic, fast-paced industry where no two days are the same!

What You’ll Be Doing:

Job Requirement Analysis – Collaborate with the branch consultants to understand the specific skills, qualifications, and experience needed for various roles we’re working on.
Candidate Sourcing – Actively search for prospect candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals.
Candidate Screening – Review CV profiles and conduct initial interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications, sales skills, and cultural fit with the organisation.
Interview Coordination – Arrange and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, managing the logistics of the interview process, reporting back to consultants with updates.
Candidate Assessment – Administer assessments or tests to evaluate candidates’ general abilities and potential for success in the role.
Reference Checks – Conduct reference checks to verify candidates’ work history, performance, and suitability for positions.
Offer Negotiations – Assist in negotiating job offers and other employment terms to secure the placement.
Onboarding Support – Collaborate with HR teams and hiring managers when consultants can’t, to ensure a smooth onboarding process for newly hired employees/workers.
Market Research – Stay updated with industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive market conditions to provide valuable insights to clients.
Maintain Candidate Database – Keep a comprehensive database of potential candidates for future opportunities, whilst maintaining strong relationships with them.
Branch Admin – Provide day-to-day administrative support for the branch, including managing correspondence, filing, updating systems, preparing documents, and assisting consultants with general office tasks to ensure smooth branch operations.
Branch Compliance – Ensure all candidate and client files meet regulatory and company compliance standards, including right-to-work checks, documentation audits, GDPR adherence, and maintaining up-to-date compliance records.
Candidate Check-Ins – Contact placed candidates to confirm attendance, performance, and job satisfaction, while addressing any issues that arise and providing feedback to consultants and clients.
Client Relations – Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by acting as a point of contact, resolving queries, gathering feedback, and supporting consultants in delivering a high level of customer service.
Lead Generation – Research and identify potential business opportunities through market mapping, networking, and outbound calls, supporting consultants by providing qualified leads to develop into active client accounts.
Sales Support – All hands on deck! If you have time to support the branch consultants, take your candidates out to market as well. No one will know the candidates better than you, so this should come as second nature!
