Children’s Social Worker, Stockport
Pay rate £38 per hour
Vitalis Social Care are recruiting for an experienced and qualified Children’s Social Worker to join a Children with Disabilities Team in the Stockport area.
Job Purpose and Responsibilities: -
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Children with Disabilities social worker to support our CWD service as we grow and develop in 2025. We have secured investment while we undertake a strategic review of the service to meet the growing needs of children and families in Stockport.
You will have knowledge and experience of working with children with disabilities and their families, completing statutory assessment of need, including parent carer assessments, assessment of eligibility for short breaks, and mental capacity. You will have experience and understanding of all aspects of statutory social work, including experience in safeguarding and court work. Must be able to drive and have access to a car for work.
