Job Description

Children's Social Worker, Salford
Children’s Safeguarding Unit
Pay rate, £35 per hour
Job Purpose: -

To review the child protection plans of children and young people, to ensure that they are meaningful and child centred.
To ensure planning has positive impact on outcomes for children and young people.
To chair reviews of care plans for looked after children, within statutory timescales.
To ensure that recommendations made are specific, achievable, measurable, realistic and timely.
To complete review minutes within statutory timescales.
To monitor the progression of looked after children review recommendations in between reviews.
