The Role
Secondary schools across Solihull are seeking reliable and adaptable Supply Teachers to provide day-to-day classroom cover from February 2026. This role involves supervising pre-set work across a variety of subjects, maintaining classroom order, and ensuring a positive learning environment in the absence of the usual teacher.
This is an ideal opportunity for qualified teachers seeking flexibility, a better work-life balance, or varied experience across different school settings—without the demands of planning or marking.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
- Be confident managing classrooms across KS3 and KS4
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
- Be reliable, professional, and adaptable
- Be comfortable delivering general cover across multiple subjects
