The Role
An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Telford is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team from January 2026 on a long-term supply basis. The role involves teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering well-structured lessons that support progress and attainment.
You will be responsible for planning engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement. This is a full-time role with consistency and support within a well-established Maths department.
 
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
  • Hold QTS (ECTs are welcome to apply)
  • Have experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and clear lesson delivery
  • Be confident managing classroom behaviour effectively
  • Be reliable, organised, and committed to student progress
