Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and skilled French & Spanish Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Birmingham from September 2025. The school, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and fostering a supportive learning environment where languages play a key role in broadening students’ horizons.

The Role
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging French and Spanish lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring all students are supported and challenged to achieve their best. The role includes preparing pupils for GCSE success, using innovative teaching strategies to develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing. You will also contribute to the wider school community by fostering a love for languages and promoting cultural awareness.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will be a qualified MFL teacher with experience teaching both French and Spanish at secondary level. Strong classroom management skills, creativity, and the ability to inspire young learners are essential. You should be confident in preparing pupils for exams and committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and ECTs.
