A well-respected secondary school in Solihull is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a long-term supply position, offering a competitive daily rate and the opportunity to teach a full English timetable across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role
You’ll deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned English lessons to pupils in Years 7–11, supporting their development in reading, writing, and critical thinking. You will also contribute to departmental planning, marking and assessments, and play a role in maintaining high classroom standards.
 
The Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is a confident Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Has strong subject knowledge and classroom presence
  • Can inspire a love for English literature and language
  • Is organised, adaptable and keen to contribute to school life
