*** Working with small groups in a very practical environment

The Role:
As a Motor Vehicle Teacher, Tutor or Trainer you will deliver structured, practical lessons to small groups. You will work to the BTEC curriculum so experience in a school of college is essential. You will not just be responsible for teaching the basics but getting students ready for the world of work and underpinning skills and H&S as part of the programme.

The Candidate:
You will hold a teaching qualification and have worked in a school or college setting teaching BTEC. You will be keen to continually develop your input in practical lessons that will enable students to continue their development. You will have a track record of teaching and be able to adjust your technique to engage with all students. Insights into apprenticeships and world of work are a must.

Requirements 

• Teaching Qualification
• BTEC – You will have in-depth knowledge of the BTEC Motor Vehicle.
• Enhanced DBS – Ideally on the Update Service.
• Desire to work with students age 14+ – With a genuine interest in supporting progress.
• Experience working with students in an SEMH or College setting.
