SEN Teaching Assistant

***Long-term contract, September 2025 start
***£90-£120 per day (dependant on experience) 
***Small, special Primary SEN school, Stechford.
***General classroom SEN teaching assistant, small classes with around 10 students.

The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting students with a wide range of learning difficulties and disabilities, it is a hands-on role. You will provide one-to-one and small group support for children with complex needs such as Autism, Speech and Language difficulties and disabilities. You may be required to support personal care needs, including feeding, toileting and mobility assistance when required. 

The Candidate
You will have extensive experience supporting children with SEN needs and will be calm, patient and have a nurturing approach. You have strong communication skills to liaise with class teacher, SENCO and parents/carers. You will be resilient and can remain positive when faced with challenges in behaviour or communication. A relevant qualification (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or SEN training) is desirable but not essential
