Location: SEN Unit, Mainstream Primary School – Northolt
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, Long-term

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs in the Early Years?
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Northolt. The role will be based within the school’s specialist SEN unit, providing tailored support to children in the Early Years with a range of needs, helping them to thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with SEN in the Early Years unit.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible learning activities.
  • Support the development of children’s communication, social, and emotional skills.
  • Implement strategies and interventions to meet individual learning needs.
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN (Early Years experience desirable).
  • A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young children’s development.
  • Availability for a full-time, long-term role starting immediately.
