About Us: We are a well-established and inclusive special educational needs (SEN) school, committed to providing high-quality education for children and young people with autism spectrum conditions (ASC). Our pupils, aged 4 to 19, benefit from a nurturing environment where they can grow academically, socially, and emotionally at their own pace.

The Role: We are seeking a full-time SEN Teacher to join us from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly experienced team and contribute to the personalised learning journeys of pupils with diverse needs and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils with autism
- Work closely with support staff, therapists, and families to develop and implement EHCP targets
- Create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment
- Monitor progress and use assessment data effectively to inform teaching and learning
- Foster independence, communication, and social skills through structured routines and strategies such as PECS, Makaton, and visual timetables
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
- Experience working with children with autism or within a SEN setting (mainstream teachers with strong SEN experience also encouraged to apply)
- A positive, empathetic approach and a genuine passion for inclusive education
- Strong classroom management and a flexible, solution-focused attitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A supportive and experienced leadership team
