Job Description:
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics education to our secondary school students. You will inspire and motivate learners to develop a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and their practical applications. Your role will involve planning engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the overall development of our maths curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective maths lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their academic goals.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, contributing ideas to enhance the maths curriculum and teaching strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular initiatives and contribute to the school community.
  • Stay updated on the latest educational developments and best practices in mathematics teaching.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching maths at the secondary level is preferred but not essential.
  • A passion for mathematics and a commitment to inspiring students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
