Reception Class Teacher – Maternity Cover – Camden – September Start
Pertemps Education is seeking a Reception Class Teacher to join a warm and welcoming one-form entry primary school in Camden from September 2025. This is a maternity cover position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a well-supported and child-centred Early Years environment.

Location: Camden
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Maternity Cover (Full-Time)
Salary: M1 – M6 + Inner London Allowance

About the Role:

• Full-time Reception Class Teacher role as part of the Early Years Foundation Stage team
• Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons that nurture children’s early learning
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
• Use observations and formative assessment to plan next steps and monitor progress
• Work collaboratively with the EYFS team, support staff and parents
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through planning, meetings and events

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage (ECT's Encouraged)
• Demonstrate excellent understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
• Be warm, caring and nurturing in their classroom approach
• Have strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Be passionate about giving children the best possible start to their school life
