SEN Teacher – ASD Specialist Provision - Bromley 
Pertemps Education is seeking a compassionate and skilled SEN Teacher to join an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) specialist provision in Bromley. This school supports children who are not currently in mainstream education due to complex communication and sensory needs associated with autism.

• Position: SEN Teacher 

• Location: Bromley 

• Start Date: ASAP or September 2025 

• Interview Date: Immediate 

• Salary: M1 - UPS3 (dependent on experience) 

 
The Role: 

• Deliver personalised and engaging lessons tailored to pupils with ASD and associated needs 

• Create a calm, structured and predictable learning environment that supports emotional and sensory regulation 

• Use approaches such as TEACCH, PECS, Makaton, and visual timetables to support communication and learning 

• Collaborate closely with a team of therapists, support staff, and senior leaders to ensure consistent support for pupils 

• Promote independence, social skills, and emotional development through targeted teaching strategies 

 
The Ideal Candidate: 

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent 

• Experience teaching pupils with ASD, communication difficulties, or sensory processing challenges 

• A confident understanding of autism-specific strategies and structured teaching approaches 

• A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to behaviour and learning 

• Strong teamwork and communication skills
