Early Years Teaching Assistant – Streatham – Immediate Start 
A vibrant and welcoming primary school in Streatham is looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping them develop key skills in a nurturing and engaging environment.

Role Overview 

• Position: Early Years Teaching Assistant 

• Location: Streatham 

• Start Date: Immediate 

• Salary: £105 - £110 per day (dependent on experience) 

 
The ideal candidate will: 

• Have experience working with children in EYFS 

• Be knowledgeable about early childhood development and the EYFS framework 

• Be confident in supporting early literacy, numeracy, and social skills 

• Have a patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach to working with young children 

• Be able to work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff 

• Be committed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment 

 
Your Responsibilities 

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to help children develop key skills 

• Assist with phonics, early reading, and numeracy activities 

• Encourage children’s social and emotional development through play-based learning 

• Support the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum 

• Help create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
