SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Barnet – Immediate Start

About the Role: 
📍 Location: Barnet 
💰 Pay: £95 - £105 per day 
📅 Start Date: February 
📞 Interview Date: ASAP 
 
We are looking for a dedicated individual with: 
✔️ Experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a school setting. 
✔️ Strong communication and relationship-building skills to support student engagement. 
✔️ Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet the needs of the individual child. 
✔️ A commitment to fostering inclusion and creating a positive learning experience. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
🔹 Providing 1:1 support to a student with SEN, helping them access learning and achieve their potential. 
🔹 Assisting with communication, sensory, and behavioural needs, using appropriate strategies to support engagement. 
🔹 Encouraging independence and confidence in the classroom. 
🔹 Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to follow and adapt learning plans. 
🔹 Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being through targeted interventions.
