Job Description

Reparation and Restorative Justice Worker, Havering  
 
Rate: £22 - £25 Umbrella (possibly higher rate dependent on experience)  
Work Arrangements: on-site Interviews:  
Ongoing Duration: 3 months (with opportunity for extension) (Evenings and Weekends as part of their regular work, as required)  
 
The key objectives are to: - To help deliver the practical reparative activities. - To work alongside the young people and monitor their behaviour whilst working in line with both national and local guidance. - To work directly with young people undertaking restorative justice processes, as agreed by Reparation, Unpaid Work and Junior Attendance Centre Coordinator. - To assist in working to prevent offending by children and young people. Supervise direct reparation. - To offer the victims of young people who commit crime the opportunity to take part in restorative processes. - To deliver victim awareness interventions. - Contact and seek personal views from victims of crime. - To attend Referral Order community panels on behalf or with victims to encourage and promote their views. - Attend appointments with victims and young people, in their homes where required, in line with lone-working policies.
