Science Graduate Teaching Assistant – Manchester Secondary School
Are you a science graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a secondary school setting prior to applying for your PGCE or teacher training? This well-resourced secondary school in Manchester is seeking a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students in lessons, assist with practical work, and deliver booster sessions across Key Stage 3 and 4.

The Role
In this exciting role, you will be working closely with the science department to support students in biology, chemistry, and physics. You will assist during practical sessions, help students understand complex scientific concepts, and lead small group booster sessions to improve attainment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a science graduate looking to pursue a career in teaching.

The Candidate
We are looking for a science graduate with a strong academic background and a passion for education. You should be confident, enthusiastic, and able to communicate scientific ideas clearly. The ideal candidate will be interested in gaining additional classroom based experience prior to committing to enrolling on your teacher training. Experience working with young people is a bonus, but not essential.
