Job Role:

• Teaching Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4. With the opportunity to teach construction.
• Planning and delivering engaging, practical, and creative lessons that inspire students.
• Making full use of the school’s modern workshop facilities and extensive DT resources.
• Encouraging students to develop practical skills in woodwork, metalwork, resistant materials, CAD/CAM, and product design.
• Supporting students with GCSE coursework, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Working within a collaborative DT department, sharing best practices and ideas.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching DT in a secondary school setting.
• A passion for practical, hands-on learning and innovation in teaching.
• Strong classroom management skills with a focus on student engagement.
• The ability to work effectively within a high-performing team.
