Job Description
As a Pastoral Lead at this school, you will play a pivotal role in providing support across Key Stage 4, delivering impactful 1-2-1 intervention sessions, and assisting teaching staff with effective classroom management. Effective communication skills and a deep understanding of the challenges young people face are essential for this role. You will have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced and proactive team of Pastoral Leads and contribute to the outstanding leadership of the school. Previous experience as a Pastoral Lead, Head of Year, Deputy DSL, or Behaviour Lead within a school setting is required for this position.
Job Role:
- Provide support for students across Key Stage 4
- Deliver 1-2-1 intervention sessions focused on improving behaviours and personal development
- Effectively communicate with parents, carers, and outside agencies
- Collaborate with a small team of experienced Pastoral Leads to deliver outstanding support
- Attend safeguarding meetings with the DSL and safeguarding team
- Ensure effective support for students across Key Stage 4
- Ongoing opportunity as a Pastoral Lead in a progressive and dynamic secondary school
- Support from an established Pastoral team with excellent management
