Job Description
You will play a key role in managing the end-to-end installation process for a variety of retail projects. You’ll work closely with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality. You will be responsible for coordinating schedules, managing resources, mitigating risks, and ensuring that all regulatory and safety requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of retail installation projects, from initial concept through to final handover.
- Coordination & Scheduling: Work with stakeholders to establish project timelines, allocate resources, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Vendor & Contractor Management: Source, liaise with, and manage external contractors and suppliers to ensure project requirements are delivered effectively.
- Budget Control: Track project expenses, manage budgets, and ensure the project stays within financial parameters.
- Client Relations: Maintain strong communication with clients, providing regular updates and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Problem-Solving: Anticipate potential challenges and provide timely solutions to ensure project success.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure that installations adhere to all health, safety, and legal requirements.
- Proven experience in retail project management, with a strong understanding of the installation process and best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Experience with budgeting and cost control.
- Knowledge of retail environments and store design is a plus.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing client needs.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- A full UK driving license (or relevant travel flexibility).
