Job Title: EHC Co-ordinator
Location: Nottinghamshire County Council – Hybrid working (some in-office presence required)
Contract: Full-time | Temporary Contract
Pay Rate: Competitive – dependent on experience

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?
Pertemps is working in partnership with Nottinghamshire County Council to recruit an experienced EHC Co-ordinator to join their dynamic SEND team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with experience in statutory assessment and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) to make a tangible difference in young lives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage the EHC needs assessment process in line with the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Draft and amend EHCPs, ensuring they are accurate, timely, and reflect the needs and provision for each child/young person.
  • Liaise with families, schools, health professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure robust multi-agency involvement.
  • Monitor and review EHCPs to ensure they remain fit for purpose and statutory timelines are met.
  • Ensure all work complies with legislative frameworks and council policies.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a local authority or education setting.
  • Strong understanding of the Children and Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and case management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight statutory deadlines.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply).
