Job Description

Vox Consultants are hiring for a Principal Planning Officer for a Local Authority based in the Southwest of England.
Please note, this is a Contract opportunity and only apply if you have the Right to Work in the UK and has relevant experience.

You will be:

Co – ordinating and supervising planning applications and development proposals, ensuring they meet local and national planning policies, ensuring a coordinated approach to planning, development and regeneration.
Dealing with complex planning applications.
Assisting in the formulation and implementation of planning policies and strategies.
Engaging with stakeholders.
Evaluating the environmental impact.
Preparing detailed reports.
Assisting the Team Manager.

Essentials:

A degree in Planning and Related Fields.
Membership or accreditation from a recognised planning institution, such as the RTPI.
Right to work in the UK.
Several years of experience in a planning role.
