Location: North Northamptonshire, Northamptonshire. 
Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, Remote WFH with occansional need to visit Schools around Northamptonshire area. 
Rate of Pay: £279.76 per day.

Pertemps are recruiting for an Education Capital and Place Planning Officer in the Northamptonshire area. The purpsoe of the role is to ensure councils meet their statutory duty to secure sufficent education provision across Northamptonshire. 

In this role you will:

• Plan and review demand across the area
• Contribute to the commissioning and establishing of new places in consultation with other statutory bodies
• Contribute to the devlopment and on-going review of policies and procedures in respect of the planning and commissioning of 0-25 educational provision in line with established and changing national policies.
• Facilitate the conversion process whereby maintained schools become academies, operating independently from the County Council.

What we are looking for:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification e.g. NVQ 4, HNC
• Evidence of commitment to continuing personal and professional development.
• Experience in place planning and experience with capital projects.
