💼 Full-time, temp to perm contract
💰 £13.50 - £15.50 per hour

We’re looking for an experienced production setter to complete set-ups and changeovers on manufacturing equipment (e.g., presses/CNC/finishing lines), run first-off checks, adjust parameters and hand over to operators for steady-state production.

Key Responsibilities

• Fit tooling/fixtures and load programmes where applicable
• Complete first-off and in-process quality checks; make adjustments
• Fault-find minor issues; support operators during start-up
• Record set-ups and maintain safe start-up/shut-down routines and 5S

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven setting experience on presses/CNC/production lines
• Able to read engineering drawings; competent with calipers/micrometers
• Strong safety and quality discipline; clear communication across shifts
• Methodical, organised and responsive to production priorities
