Job Description
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00 / Friday: 07:00 – 13:00
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary – Permanent
We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative to join our client’s production team. This role is ideal for someone who is technically minded, hands-on, and looking for a long-term opportunity.
The Duties of a Machine Operator:
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Use hand and power tools as part of the production process
- Perform basic computer tasks related to machine operation and reporting
- Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a tidy workspace
The Requirements of a Machine Operator:
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Basic computer literacy
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Good attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
