Mail Sorter

Our client is looking for somone to join their team over the festive season and busiest time of the season, as a mail sorter you will play a crutial role insuring every christmas card and present reaches it's destination safely.

As a mail sorter your duties would be as such:

• Moving mail and packages through our centres 
• Unloading mail and packages from our vans 
• Help sort mail and packages

This client is flexible with offering a range of shift, therefore it is made simple to fin one that suits you. The typical shift patterns are:

• Earlies 6:00 - 14:00 (from £13.90 p/h)
• Lates: 14:00 - 22:00 (from £13.90p/h)

Our mail sorter wish list:

• Efficient and orgaised - Enjoy working in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Flexibility and adaptability: the ability to swich between tasks during a shift.
• Strength and stamina: Able to push trolleys (up to 250kg) and lift/move mail bags (up to 11kg). Also comfortable with extended periods of walking and standing.

You do not require any past experience similar to this role tp apply, however it would be great if you were to have prior experience in a warehouse or sorting role, or worked in a distribution centre.

Transport is also provided from Birmingham to Northampton via Erdington if you are from Birmingham and want to persue this role !
