Experienced Social Worker, £39ph, Assessment & CP Team, Swindon
Pertemps are recruiting for qualified and experienced Social Workers to join the Assessment and Child Protection team.

About the Team:
This supportive and welcoming team is organised into 5 PODs, each comprising 4 Social Workers and led by an Assistant Team Manager. Every POD rotates duty every 5 weeks, ensuring a collaborative approach and manageable workload distribution

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in duty weeks on a rotating 5-week schedule, receiving and managing cases of children needing statutory assessments or child protection investigations.
• Complete assessments to inform individualised plans that best support the child’s needs.
• Collaborate with Family Intervention and Support Services to determine the most appropriate level of ongoing support for each child, including Child in Need or Child Protection Plans.
• Prioritise smooth transitions for children moving between levels of support and services.
