Engineering Assembly Operatives – Temp to Perm Opportunity in Wellingborough
Pertemps are currently recruiting skilled Engineering Assembly Operatives to join our client’s team in Wellingborough on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with production in a heavy engineering environment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Ensure high accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks, with a strong focus on quality.
• Work to tight tolerances and conduct quality control checks on all materials.
• Adhere to all health and safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within a heavy engineering environment is essential.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to finishing tasks on time, meeting deadlines.
• A keen eye for detail and a focus on quality.

Hours of Work:
Backshift:
Monday to Thursday: 14:30 to 22:30
Friday: not a working day
Morning Shift:
Monday to Thursday: 06:30 to 15:30
Friday: 06:30 to 13:00
Pay Rates:

• Backshift: £13.50 per hour
• Morning Shift: £12.50 per hour
