Internal Sales Coordinator
Location: Derby
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Job Type: Full-time, Office-based

Our client is a well-established manufacturing company based in Derby, known for delivering high-quality products and outstanding customer service. They are now looking for an Internal Sales Coordinator to join their team and play a key role in supporting the sales function.
As an Internal Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing customer and supplier interactions, coordinating materials, and providing essential support to the Sales Manager. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills to ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle inbound sales enquiries and provide product information to customers.
  • Process orders, track deliveries, and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely fulfilment.
  • Support the Sales Manager with administrative tasks, quotes, and customer follow-ups.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate materials and stock levels, ensuring availability for customer orders.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including procurement and logistics, to streamline operations.
  • Prepare and update reports on sales performance and order statuses.

Key Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience in internal sales, customer service, or sales coordination.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and suppliers.
  • Highly organized with good attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems.
  • A proactive and problem-solving approach to work.

This is an office-based role in Derby.
Own transport is desirable due to the location.
