Goods in Operative

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Goods In Operative to join a leading company on the outskirts of Horsham. They are a specialist manufacturer and supplier of high-end stationery and materials. They supply to retailers, universities, key accounts throughout the UK and Europe. 

 
Working in a busy and dynamic role this is a varied position with duties including: 

• Loading and unloading deliveries using Counterbalance 
• Booking goods in onto WMS 
• Checking for missing and damaged items 
• Storing items in correct warehouse locations using Reach Truck  
• Performing daily forklift safety checks 
• Replenishment of stock  

The successful candidate must have: 

• Valid forklift licences – Reach, Counterbalance and ideally Flexi 
• Previous experience in a similar warehouse position 
• Experience using PDA/ Hand-held Scanners 
• Own transport due to site location 

Package: 

• 8.00 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (40 hour week) with overtime opportunities 
• Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 DOE  
• 20 days holiday (increasing to 25 days after 5 years employment).
