Job Description

Our client, a manufacturer in Leatherhead is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Planner/Scheduler to join their team and ensure seamless production processes.

The Role:

Develop and maintain production schedules using an ERP system.
Manage production capacity to align with customer demands and deliveries.
Monitor schedules for any changes in materials, machinery, or production constraints.
Oversee work orders, track materials, and monitor the production progress.
Point of contact for customers for customer order scheduling & deliveries.
Liaise with internal departments to provide lead times.
Identify and resolve production conflicts.
Work with procurement to ensure material availability and resolve shortages.
Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and audits.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Experience in aerospace, pharmaceutical, or medical device engineering is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience in scheduling and production planning.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, e.g. CNC machine planning.
Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate across teams.
Detail-oriented & good multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in IT packages and ERP systems.
