The Digital Planning and Reporting Lead is responsible for leading our Digital Performance reporting, driving strategic planning, improving risk management and providing actionable insights to support business decisions. This role involves the delivery of high-quality reports and insights across Digital Performance areas, working collaboratively with Digital colleagues to improve data-driven decision-making, and developing and overseeing planning initiatives across Digital.

What you’ll be doing as Digital Planning and Reporting Lead
Reporting
 
  • Develop and manage comprehensive reporting frameworks to monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) across Digital. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all reports and dashboards.

Strategic Planning
 
  • Lead the annual strategic planning process, including the development of long-term goals and objectives. Collaborate with senior leadership to align business strategies with organizational goals.

Insights Generation
 
  • Utilise data-driven insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Provide actionable recommendations to enhance business performance and drive growth.

Stakeholder Collaboration
 
  • Work closely with various departments, including finance, to gather key messages and insight on Digital performance and risk. Foster strong relationships and ensure alignment on key initiatives.

Process Improvement
 
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting and planning activities. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends.

Base location: Clearwater Court – Hybrid.

Full Time.

What you should bring to the role
 
  • Proven ability to set up and deliver reporting frameworks, processes, standards and assurance.
  • Strong senior leadership skills to influence motivate and lead change in and outside of the Strategy and Performance Team.
  • Ability to meet targets and consistently manage priorities, deadlines, and time-critical situations.
  • Data analysis capability, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience in gathering, analysing and presenting complex information to different audiences in a straightforward manner with the key messages understood.
  • Experience in using tools for data visualisation, reporting and analysis, such as PowerBI.
  • Knowledge and experience of data preparation and exploration in reports to meet user needs, providing appropriate guidance and caveats.
  • Experience in identifying and addressing quality issues.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Business Management, Commercial, Finance or Project Management related subject.
