Key Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant:

• Processing purchase invoices and supporting the accounts payable function.
• Assisting with sales ledger duties including raising invoices and allocating payments.
• Reconciling supplier statements and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Supporting month-end processes, including accruals, journals, and bank reconciliations.
• Responding to internal and external finance queries promptly and professionally.
• Providing general support to the wider finance team as required.

 
The Ideal Finance Assistant:

• Previous experience in a finance or accounting support role.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical accuracy.
• Confident working with finance systems and Excel.
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks to deadlines.
