Business Analyst

Sheridan Maine is proud to be partnering with a well-known organisation based in Central London to recruit a Business Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking business and play a key role in driving performance through data-led insight and process improvement.
 
Responsibilities of the Business Analyst include:

• Support the preparation and ongoing monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end reporting, including variance analysis.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to inform strategic planning.
• Maintain and enhance financial models, dashboards and reporting tools.
• Act as a key liaison between finance, operations and IT teams.
• Provide ad-hoc analytical support to the finance team and senior leadership.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data.

 
The successful Business Analyst:

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• Proven experience in a Business Analyst or similar analytical role.
• Strong Excel and data manipulation skills; experience (VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, pivot tables, charts).
• Good understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
