Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a well-established organisation based in Cirencester to recruit a Pricing Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded individual to join a collaborative team and play a key role in driving pricing strategy and business performance.
 
This is a hybrid role, offering a blend of home and office-based working, along with free onsite parking and a competitive benefits package.
 
Responsibilities of the Pricing Analyst include:
  • Design and enhance pricing models to support both new and existing income protection products.
  • Evaluate trends in retention, underwriting outcomes, and claims experience to refine pricing assumptions.
  • Partner closely with Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, and Product teams to support cohesive and informed pricing strategies.
  • Contribute to the creation and improvement of management information dashboards to track product and pricing performance.
  • Offer financial and actuarial insight to support product innovation, profit analysis, and discussions with reinsurers.
  • Develop price elasticity models to assess the impact of pricing strategies and guide long-term planning.
  • Working closely with the CFO and Actuaries, play an active role in regulatory and strategic reporting processes.
 
The successful Pricing Analyst:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role or with transferable expertise.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in a similar pricing, commercial, or financial analyst role.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present data and insights clearly.
  • Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working across multiple teams.
